What To Expect

What To Expect

When and where are your services?
We worship corporately on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m in the gym of the Ron Rosner YMCA at Patriot Park. You can find the address and directions here.

How long will the service last?
Our services are about an hour and a half.

What will the service be like?
Each week we sing together, using a combination of traditional hymns, modern hymns, and worship songs. We confess our sins corporately, are assured of God’s grace, and pray. We also hear from God through the reading and preaching of his word. Sermons usually last about 30min.

What should I wear?
People would call us casual. Our main focus is on the heart, not on what you wear.

Will I be able to follow along easily?
Because we believe that God has welcomed sinners like us, we want you to feel as welcome as possible. The order of worship is printed in the bulletin you receive when you enter, and gives all the information you need to follow along and participate as you feel comfortable.

Will I be asked to do or give something?
No. God grace is a free gift through Jesus Christ. We have freely received that grace from him; we freely offer it to you. However, a collection box is present in the back if you wish to give. There are also directions for online giving in the bulletin if you would like to do so electronically.

What about my kids?
We know that teaching children to stay involved through a worship service can be challenging. We are patient (we have all been there too!) and will assist you in any way possible.  Children are welcome in our service!

What do you believe and teach?
All of our teaching is rooted in the Bible and the historic creeds and confessions of the church. We believe that Jesus Christ as the only Savior for sinners who are alienated from God. Our beliefs are stated more completely here. We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).  You can also listen to any of our sermons.
